New Apt, New Blog!

This coming weekend I will do what any normal person would do in a city where the cost of living is 3x's the national average...I am moving into my very own studio apartment! In contrast to the size of the new digs, this is actually a pretty big step for me. This is the first stride towards the assimilation into adulthood since I graduated college. (I've been silently protesting for the past 3 years)

In light of this new transition, and with the disheartening realization that I don't get to see or regularly keep in touch with my friends or family as often as I'd like, I thought I'd start a blog with regular updates about my life in NYC (this will include the fun and exciting places my travels and friends take me)!

I'd like to claim this as an original idea, but unfortunately I swiped it! I really enjoy keeping up with my friends’ blogs. It makes me feel like I am more in tune with what goes on in their lives and ease's the madness of not being able to be with them on a day to day basis...a feeling I thought some might share about me...I’m sure at least my mom would agree!

So, here it goes…a new apartment, a new blog!

ps. Did anyone else who uses this blog site notice that the #1 example for "Labels for this post" is scooters?
